Head of New Business Intake - Brand new role in a growing firm!

An amazing opportunity has been created by our client who are a leading and dynamic law firm known for their commitment to excellence and dedication to client service.

This is a brand new role for the Risk team and our client and this will be a great opportunity for a Business Intake professional to lead the strategy for the firm and work with senior management to ensure the processes are robust and as efficient as possible. 

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement firm-wide processes and procedures for new client intake.
• Lead a team of professionals responsible for evaluating new client engagements.
• Conduct comprehensive conflicts checks and risk assessments for potential clients.
• Collaborate with attorneys and practice groups to understand client needs and potential conflicts.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant ethical, legal, and regulatory requirements.
• Manage and maintain the firm's conflicts database and records.
• Oversee the client engagement process from inception to acceptance or conflict resolution.
• Provide guidance and training to staff on conflicts resolution and intake procedures.
• Collaborate with the General Counsel and Risk Management team on complex conflicts issues.
• Stay current on industry best practices and updates in conflicts and intake procedures.
• Generate reports and metrics related to conflicts checks and new business intake.
• Continuously improve and streamline the intake process to enhance efficiency.

Please note legal/law firm experience is essential.
