Your new company
This is a global, well-known law firm with a highly regarded in-house tax team, who are looking to recruit for an international tax accountant to work on all non-UK tax matters in their Manchester office. The law firm is full service, and have over 5000 staff worldwide, along with over 50 offices in multiple jurisdictions. The company have a highly flexible working schedule (2 days in the office per week), and have a new, modern office in the centre of Manchester.
Your new role
This role will see you take a lead on and manage UK Tax matters for the firm, including the management of corporation and capital allowance tax, VAT and reviewing quarterly tax returns, and PAYE / Employment tax. There will also be the management of two junior accountants within the team, and the role will see you report directly into the Global Head of Tax.
What you'll need to succeed
This role will require you to have a qualification such as the ACA, ACCA or CTA, along with post qualified experience gained at a reputable accountancy practice or in-house tax team. Ideally, you will have a range of tax experience but be more corporate tax focused. You will be UK Tax focused, and be able to hit the ground running in the role. Ideally, you will have experience of managing 1+ junior accountants.
