This role requires a meticulous and dedicated PI Claims Handler to manage and process personal injury claims on behalf of business in the water industry. The successful candidate will be engaged for 6 months to support the legal team and ensure all claims are handled efficiently and effectively.

Our client is a massive player in the Energy & Natural Resources / Utilities industry, providing safe water and waste water services to over 5 million people across Yorkshire.

Description

We are looking for an experienced PI Claims Handler to support the business on a temporary basis. The primary responsibility is to manage and process claims that may arise from incidents related to the company's operations.

Duties include:

  • Logging, assessing and investigating claims on system
  • Maintaining records and ensuring documentation compliance
  • Communicating with claimants' experts, statutory bodies and client by email, telephone and in writing
  • Legal compliance and liaison
  • Negotiating on issues of liability and quantum
  • Customer Service support
  • Attendance at court
  • Adhere to company policies
  • Developing relationships with clients.

Profile

Experience of dealing with Personal Injury claims is essential for this post. The successful PI Claims Handler will have demonstrable legal knowledge, investigative skills and strong communication.

While remote working can be accommodated most of the time, someone local to Bradford office would be ideal.
