Principal Legal Officer (Commercial and Procurement)

£42821- £48069

This role will provide you with the opportunity to continue with your professional development within a dynamic, forward-thinking organisation. You will be assisting with commercial, projects and procurements as well as contributing to the development of leading practices.

The duties of the Principal Legal Officer role will include:

  • Advising on the implementation and interpretation of public procurement regulations
  • Drafting, negotiating and interpreting commercial contract
  • Work collaboratively with senior colleagues on more complex matters
  • Assist senior colleagues in assignments and the delivery of projects
  • Provide advice to stakeholders in relation to risk

Experience required for the Principal Legal Officer role:

We are keen to hear from candidates that have a genuine desire to work in commercial and procurement law in a public sector environment. Ideally they will have a basic understanding of commercial and public procurement.

You must be qualified or due to qualify soon for this role, candidates who are newly qualified are encouraged to apply!
