We are looking for an experience Legal Secretary with a few years working in the practice area of Property Litigation. You will be supporting a Partner and solicitor with client-focused secretarial and administrative work.

Specialising in Real Estate, Dispute Resolution & Litigation, they have decades of experience and work with solution-driven plans, tailored to their clients needs. They have been practising in the legal industry for over 40 years, and are ranked as a Top Tier Firm in the Legal 500.

Description

Regular tasks will include:

  • Monthly billing
  • Producing and reviewing legal documents
  • Handling confidential information
  • Working from solicitors' written notes and audio files (dictation)
  • Copy typing and audio typing
  • Liaising with clients
  • Making appointments and managing diaries
  • Inbox management
  • Accompanying solicitors on meetings
  • General administrative work & file management

You will also assist other secretaries in the Dispute Resolution department at busy times and help cover absences (and vice versa).

Profile

You should have previous property litigation experience, gained in a similar environment.

You will also have:

  • 2 years experience working as a Legal Secretary
  • Commercial awareness and understanding of how your role contributes to the success of the business
  • Experience of legal billing & good standard of numeracy
  • Good IT & keyboard/typing skills
  • Good administrative and time management skills
  • Good standard of English & strong interpersonal skills
  • Proactive and responsible team member
  • Flexible and adaptable style - willingness to develop and to adapt to changing business needs
  • A professional, confident approach to work

Job Offer

For this position, you will receive a competitive starting salary up to £38,000, along with other benefits and a discretionary bonus.
