Our client is seeking an NQ-2 PQE EL/PL Solicitor to join their team in either Manchester or Liverpool. The firm are a well known national law firm with household name clients.

Client Details

Our client is highly regarded throughout the legal industry. The Casualty team provides a full, expert service in defending public (PL) and employers' liability (EL) claims, across the private sector. The team operate on a national basis with dedicated commercial insurance and public sector teams. They are looking for a NQ-2 PQE EL/PL Solicitor to join their busy department

Description

As a NQ-2 PQE EL/PL Solicitor you will:

  • Be responsible for the running of the day to day of your cases including liaising with clients, opponents, court, witnesses and undertaking your own liability investigations.
  • Handle your own caseload of predominantly fast track claims (and/ or multi track depending on experience), and assisting with higher value multi track claims. Predominantly PI including EL and PL
  • Complete MI procedures as and when required
  • Achieve set financial and chargeable targets
  • Ensure relevant deadlines, SLAs, quality measures and KPI's are adhered to
  • Comply with relevant policies and procedures
  • Work in accordance with Weightmans' values

Profile

A successful NQ-2 PQE EL/PL should have experience of dealing with EL/PL litigated matters. Please note that the level of experience identified is a guide only and does not preclude candidates with more or less experience from applying.
