Civil Litigation Lawyer
Full time - 6 months minimum
£45 - 60 per hour umbrella (dependent on experience)

We are currently recruiting for a Civil Litigation lawyer, solicitor, or barrister, to join a well-regarded local authority in London.

This is an excellent post for a qualified Solicitor, Barrister, FILEX or equivalent, who is wanting to grow their experience in public sector housing and civil litigation work. Local authority experience is highly desirable, but they are open to considering other sectors with transferrable skills. You will have experience providing professional legal advice on all aspects of Housing Litigation work.

The successful housing litigation lawyer will have significant experience in Civil Litigation and at least one of the following areas:

  • Housing disrepair
  • Possessions
  • Anti Social Behaviour
  • ICommercial Disputes
  • Judicial Reveiw
  • Debt Recovery
  • Homelessness
  • Civil litigation disputes

The housing and litigation team is very friendly and supportive, and can offer some training where appropriate. The team and council are highly regarded and have worked on some really interesting cases.

The post will suit an ambitious team player who will be able to adapt well within the local authority. Our client is happy to consider candidates from either a public sector or private practice background.
