Global insurance provider searching for a new Legal Counsel to join their expanding UK & Ireland team. Working on a broad range of commercial and corporate business needs, you will operate on a hybrid working policy with the opportunity for flexible hours.

They are continuing to expand, mainly through continued acquisitions, and have always placed an emphasis on the technology transformation of the insurance world including digital optimisation.


As a 2+ PQE Legal Counsel in Financial Services, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Offer expert legal guidance to the team on insurance-related issues.
  • Play a key role in contract negotiations and dispute resolutions.
  • Ensure compliance with regulations within the insurance industry.
  • Draft and review relevant legal documentation and contracts.
  • Collaborate closely with internal departments to provide comprehensive legal support.
  • Participate in the development of corporate policies and procedures.
  • Stay updated on changes in legislation and regulations affecting the insurance industry.


The successful applicant should have:

  • Qualified as a Solicitor in England & Wales OR Ireland; ideally 2+ PQE Legal Counsel in Financial Services
  • Able to commute into the office in Dublin or Uxbridge 3 days per week
  • Experience as a broad Commercial / Corporate Lawyer in the Insurance space
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills
  • The desire to work closely within an international team

Job Offer
