Our client, an Australian-founded insurtech company, have an exciting opportunity to join their newly founded UK team. Reporting directly to the Chief Commercial and Insurance Officer, you’ll be an important part of the founding UK team.

As the Business Operations Associate / Manager for the UK, you’ll be an important part of the founding UK team, reporting directly to the Chief Commercial and Insurance Officer UK, the successful candidate will be involved in a wide range of projects, which will change and evolve over time, but currently this role would be focused on the following

Main Responsibilities

  • Supporting the development and delivery of new insurance products and propositions for the UK, including:
     
  • Working with others, like our growth team, to ideate and develop new propositions and products.
     
  • Helping with the development of policy wordings, documents and customer communications that underpin new products; and
     
  • Working with the digital product team, customer support team and claims partner to bring the new insurance products and propositions into life and helping to ensure we’re continuously improving in line with our goals; and
     
  • Helping to develop and delivering a number of projects to prepare the UK insurance operations for scale, including working with underwriting and claims partners.
  • In this role you’ll have exposure to all parts of the business in the UK. You’ll also get a chance to learn from, and share your own learnings and experience with, the broader global team.

    Applicant Requirements
     
  • Demonstrated ability to manage tasks with precision and organisation, utilising good judgement and critical thinking to address new challenges.
  • Proven capability to communicate clearly and effectively with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders through written, verbal, and in-person interactions.
  • Preferred experience in insurance, financial services, or legal fields.
  • A legal degree or training is advantageous but not mandatory, provided there is a willingness to learn.
  • Strong desire to learn and tackle complex problems related to customer experience, regulations, legal documents, technology systems, or business processes.
