Civil Litigation Lawyer

Rate: £50 - 55 per hour (umbrella)

Location: South East

Working: Remote

About the Civil Litigation Lawyer Role:

Sellick Partnership are currently recruiting for a Litigation Lawyer to join a local authority based in the South East. The role will be for an initial 3 month period with a strong possibility of this being extended.

The lawyer will be overseeing housing matters within the Litigation Department. Although full-time work is favourable the council will also consider 4 days per week.

Key Responsibilities of the Civil Litigation Lawyer role:

The successful Litigation Solicitor or Barrister will be able to 'hit the ground running' and manage their own caseload of housing and regulatory matters, which may include matters such as:

  • Conducting full caseload of Housing Litigation matters, Disrepair and Debt Recovery
  • Conduct of all disrepair litigation matters from pre-action stage to trial if necessary
  • Liaising and engaging with various client departments, opponents, chambers, and courts
