Top ranking US law firm is seeking a Senior HR Advisor to join them on a permanent basis. This a exciting and newly created position which will provide the incoming Senior Advisor with a lot of autonomy and exposure across the entire Human Resources offering for the London office:

The Senior HR Advisor will take ownership of ER; Benefits, Compensation & Wellbeing and Payroll within a collegiate and supportive team:

Duties of the Senior HR Advisor:

  • Primary point for general HR queries
  • Assist with performance issues, investigations for disciplinary and grievance processes in London
  • Responsible for mid-year and annual appraisal process for all professional staff and fee earner reviews.
  • Assist with the annual salary review processes and bonuses
  • Assist with the benefit renewals
  • Assist with the management of parental leaves (maternity/paternity/shared parental leave), return to work planning, KIT days
  • Monitor absence (sickness and holidays)
  • Assist with immigration related matters
  • Coordinate payroll
  • Oversea the firm’s onboarding process for all new starters and leavers
  • Assist with planning and implementing wellbeing initiatives
  • Provide active support to the Firm’s diversity and inclusion initiatives
  • Ad-hoc project work

Desired experience of the Senior HR Advisor:

  • 2 years+ HR Advisor / Specialist experience within a law firm
  • CIPD qualification desirable
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills (both written and oral)
  • Excellent administration, organisational and technical abilities (MS Office Word, PowerPoint, Excel, iManage, Intranet and PeopleHR)
