EL/PL Paralegal
Firm
A Legal 500 defendant insurance heavyweight based in central Manchester. This is a market leading outfit, rated highly for its personal injury work. This firm is a leader in the casualty market with extremely strong tenders and relationships with top insurer clients. There is real scope for growth and development for the successful candidate.
The firm is looking to expand its EL/PL department with paralegals and litigation executives to manage small and fast track claims. You should have experience assessing liability and quantum and be able to make offers and negotiate settlements where necessary. You should be comfortable dealing with client queries and managing expectations.
Ideal Candidate
- An undergraduate law degree or previous paralegal experience with personal injury litigation (defendant or claimant)
- LPC is preferred but non-essential
- A high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Excellent organisational skills
- Assertive and confident with a "can do attitude" to work
