Risk & Compliance Lawyer

A law firm based in Hampshire is looking to hire a Risk and Compliance Lawyer to be responsible for managing and running of the Firm's operational compliance and ensuring best in class function. This is a generalist role across SRA, FCA, money laundering, ICO and complaints management.

Key responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage policies, systems and controls
• Advise the Compliance Board on implementing compliance measures
• Primary contact for data protection inquiries and Subject Access Requests
• Investigate and recommend actions in response to client complaints
• Work alongside other heads of department to identify and reduce risk factors and provide training as needed
• Stay updated on relevant regulations and internal policies

Key experience:

• Ideally a qualified solicitor
• Experience working in the legal industry
• Strong communication and leadership skills
