Senior Business Development Executive – Law firm Choice of office location (SW London or Central London) 2 days working from home Full time, permanent position £40,000 - £50,000 p/a + benefits  

 

A top 100 law firm in London are looking for a Senior Business Development Executive to join their team. The marketing & business development function has recently gone through a restructure, and this position will work closely with others in the Digital, Marketing, Events & BD functions.

 

They have recently hired a BD exec who is relatively green, so they need someone senior that can take the lead with BD initiatives and help support the executive. This would be a great opportunity for someone wanting to take a step up, or someone wanting to make a lateral move into a firm that value work life balance & culture.

 

 

 

Responsibilities

 

Develop & implement BD strategies aligned with the firm’s organic growth objectives Identify & pursue new business opportunities, including the opportunities for cross referrals Work with partners and solicitors to create tailored pitches, proposals and marketing materials Provide support & guidance to junior members in the team Represent the firm at industry events, networking opportunities and client meetings Conduct research to identify trends, what competitors are doing and client needs.  

 

About you

 

A minimum of 3 years’ experience within business development (ideally within legal but will also consider professional services experience) Experienced in pitch management – you must be able to pick up a pitch and run with it Proven ability in leading a department from a BD perspective You will be adaptable, confident and enthusiastic with an ability to forge strong relationships A book of contacts/network will be highly regarded (Real estate, family & private client is a large part of their practice)
