I have been directly instructed on a stellar opportunity for an experienced Court Lawyer (5+ Years' PQE) to head up this department at a very established firm in the North of Scotland, based in Inverness.
The Role
- Heading up a Court Department, focusing primarily on Family and Civil/Commercial Litigation
- Mainly focusing on Sheriff Court and Court of Session work in the Highlands and Islands
- Undertaking your own varied caseload
- Managing a team of fee-earners with varying degrees of experience from junior to senior, as well as legal support
- Partnership is a very close or immediate possibility, dependant on experience
The Candidate
- Experience across Family and/or Civil & Commercial Litigation
- Employment law experience would be advantageous
- Personable and approachable demeanour, with the ambition to grow and drive this department forward
- Willingness to learn other areas of Court work, if you do not have that experience yet
