The Opportunity

Join the expanding Construction team during an exciting growth phase. Based in Bath with hybrid working options, this role offers a chance to work with high-calibre clients and collaborate closely with a nationally recognized Education team. You’ll also engage in non-contentious construction matters across other sectors, particularly Charity and Business.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage an individual caseload with supervision as needed.
• Meet with clients as required.
• Collaborate effectively within the team and firm.
• Communicate promptly with colleagues and clients.
• Maintain professional development and deliver work to high standards.
• Participate in team meetings, marketing, and business development activities.

Requirements

Essential:

• Qualified Solicitor (NQ - Senior Associate) with experience in contentious construction matters.
• Commitment to career development and learning.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

Desirable:

• Dual qualifications in law and construction (e.g., ARICS, ACIOB).
• Experience in the construction and infrastructure sector.
• Interest in business development and experience in the Education and Public Sectors.
• ADR qualifications, particularly in arbitration and adjudication.

Reporting

Reports to the Head of the Construction team.
