Sellick Partnership are delighted to be working with a valued, vibrant, forward- thinking public sector organisation based in Yorkshire who are seeking a Property Lawyer to join them on permanent basis. The role will be hugely diverse, dealing with a range of property matters and projects.
About the Property Lawyer role:
For this opening of a Property Lawyer ideally you will have had previous experience with dealing with commercial property, in particular areas including; commercial leases, landlord and tenant and development matters.
This Property Lawyer role will provide you with the opportunity to; deal with exciting projects, various schemes, handling complex non-contentious legal property cases, transport matters.
The successful Property Lawyer will be responsible for the following duties:
- Drafting, negotiating, and providing legal advice and implementing instructions for high value legal property matters
- Liaising with internal, external clients and stakeholders
- Providing assistance with other areas of property law, including; planning and compulsory purchase law
- Legal advice on Insolvency law and Transport and Works Act Orders
- Write and review complex reports for decision making forums
- Delivery of projects

Experience required for the Property Lawyer role:
Our client is keen to hear from candidates with a minimum of 2-3 years PQE. Experience in the public sector and relevant areas of law are preferred, though our client is keen to hear from candidates with transferrable experience from other sectors with an ambition to learn and develop within a public sector organisation.
