Property and Regeneration Team Leader

We are working with a Shared Legal Services in the Kent Region looking for a locum Property and Regeneration Team Leader to join their department for an initial 6-month period.

The successful candidate must be a UK qualified Solicitor with at least 5 years’ experience in dealing with the following:

• Matters including development obligations, acquisitions and disposals, right to buy transactions, leases and licences, deeds of variation, deeds of surrender, rent reviews Managing a team of lawyers whilst advising the Council Overseeing the delivery of a regeneration project Good knowledge and experience in Regeneration matters is essential

You will need to have experience of handling your own legal caseload of complex regeneration schemes and property transactions. Previous Property and Regeneration legal experience in a local authority is essential.

Pay rate is between £50-60 per hour.

The local authority is looking for a candidate to start as soon as possible. Due to the urgent nature of the role, we are looking to speak to candidates available on no more than 2 weeks’ notice.
