Funds Paralegal - Leading US law firm - London

Taylor Root have partnered with a leading US law firm in their search for an experienced Funds Paralegal to join the London office. This role is being offered on a permanent basis.

The Firm

Our client has been at the forefront of investment management since their founding and is widely acknowledged as the industry leader in the US and London. The London office provides both UK and US law advice to a wide variety of Funds and manager located globally.

The Team

The firm have two focus on two separate types of funds, including Hedge and Private. They advise on the structuring of the fund, fund transactions, investor issues and complex cross border fund matters. They represent some of the largest and most successful fund managers in the world.

The Role

You will play a pivotal role in the Funds practice, assisting on all aspects of the above including:

• Prepare company formations
• Co-ordinate signatures on relevant documents
• Follow up on filings with New York office and outside sources
• Filing forms at Companies House
• Performing Company searches
• Drafting Minutes
• Preparing Board Resolutions
• Preparing Board Packs
• Liaising with Offshore Counsel
• Preparing Bibles
• Maintaining Funds and other relevant databases
• Performing KYC searches and retaining relevant information
• Assisting with client audit request letters

The Ideal Candidate

You must have previous experience working with a leading law firm in their Funds practice. This experience will ideally have been gained across multiple areas of funds with lots of exposure to internal and external contact.
