Hays is delighted to represent a fantastic public sector organisation, currently recruiting for a Paralegal to join their team in Belfast City Centre. The Paralegal will provide essential legal and administrative support to the organisation, assisting in legal matters arising from investigations. The role also involves responding to information requests in compliance with relevant legislation.

Your new role
* Assist with legal research and analysis related to ongoing investigations.
* Provide legal administrative support
* Draft, review, and manage legal documents and correspondence.
* Support the organisation in responding to information requests in line with the relevant legislation.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of legal matters and case files.
* Liaise with external legal counsel and other stakeholders as required.
* Ensure compliance with relevant legislation.


What you'll need to succeed
A degree in Law and previous experience as a paralegal or in a similar legal support role alongside:* Strong understanding of legal principles and procedures.
* Excellent research, analytical, and organisational skills.
* Proficiency in legal document management and drafting.
* Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
