Description
- Manage and oversee the client onboarding process including AML, Conflicts and CDD processes.
- Oversee the client onboarding process from end to end, ensuring compliance with AML regulations and internal policies.
- Ensure compliance with relevant AML regulations by conducting Client Due Diligence, ongoing monitoring and reporting.
- Maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients.
- Manage a team of analysts.
- Monitor clients and update checks for PEPs/Sanctions.
- Maintain and monitor the firm's high-risk register.
- Develop and implement onboarding strategies and procedures.
- Coordinate with various departments to ensure seamless integration of new clients.
- Track and report on the success of onboarding initiatives.
- Identify areas for improvement in the onboarding process and implement solutions.
- Ensure client satisfaction through the onboarding process.
Profile
A successful Client Onboarding Manager should have:
- A degree in a related field.
- Previous experience in a client onboarding/ AML role within a law firm at a senior level.
- Strong understanding of legal requirements related to client onboarding.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong working knowledge of CDD, AML and Conflicts obligations under the SRA.
- Experience supervising junior analysts would be ideal.
- A client-centric approach, with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
