Trade Mark Paralegal

Known for its collaborative culture and expertise in IP law, this firm is now looking to expand its Trade Marks team.

The Role: As a Trade Mark Paralegal, you will play a key role in supporting the firm’s attorneys and clients in managing and protecting their valuable intellectual property assets. Your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting with trade mark filings, renewals, and oppositions
• Conducting trade mark searches and preparing reports
• Managing a portfolio of trade marks and deadlines
• Liaising with clients, foreign associates, and the relevant trade mark offices
• Drafting correspondence, legal documents, and preparing evidence for hearings
• Assisting solicitors with litigation and contentious matters, including research and case preparation

The Ideal Candidate:

• Proven experience as a Trade Mark Paralegal, preferably within a law firm or IP practice
• 3 years+ experience in a client facing role
• Strong knowledge of trade mark procedures, both domestic and international
• Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills
• A proactive approach, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication skills, with a client-focused attitude
• CITMA qualification is desirable but not essential
