Rates Analyst - Global Law Firm

Ryder Reid Legal is seeking a Rates Analyst to join the dynamic team of one of our global law firm clients at their London office. In this role, you will be responsible for synchronising client and matter rate information across all systems, focusing on pricing and rates. Your analytical skills will support pricing proposals, matter budgets, and the monitoring of alternative fee arrangements. The ideal candidate must have advanced Microsoft Excel skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Build and update rate cards and e-billing templates for client pricing arrangements.Gather and analyse financial data, ensuring compliance with engagement frameworks and outside counsel guidelines.Maintain and update the billing system to reflect accurate client and matter fee arrangements.Input and assess financial and non-financial information within the firm's systems.Manage and audit the client budget tracking system for accurate reporting.Onboard new timekeepers into financial systems.Develop Business Intelligence (BI) dashboards and reports to ensure data governance.Collaborate with billing, pricing, and finance teams on rate-related requests.Qualifications:

3+ years of experience as a business or financial analyst, management accountant, or similar role.Professional services or law firm experience is highly regarded.Bachelor's degree required.Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.Strong written and oral communication.Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.Due to the high volume of applications, we are not able to respond to all enquiries.
