What will you do?
This is an important hire due to succession planning and taking over from a retiring/outgoing partner
In this role you will advise on a broad commercial property case load to include (but not limited to):
- Buying & Selling Property - including Businesses, Agricultural Land and Equestrian Property
- Lease work - including Grant, Renewals, Assignment and Under letting
- Landlord Portfolio Management
- Site Acquisition & Development (within the Industrial/Offices/Leisure/Retail sectors)
- Advising on licenses - including grazing & shooting licences
- Option Agreements, Overages & Pre-Emption Rights
- Secured Lending & Loan Agreements
- Adverse Possession
- Company structuring, share sale and corporate advice matters are largely not handled in house currently so expertise in this area would be advantageous, but certainly not essential
What do you need?
- To be a qualified solicitor or legal executive
- Ideally you should have at least 2 years’ commercial property experience as a commercial property solicitor or Legal Executive
- Local commercial property solicitors and legal executives already in Devon, and those looking to relocate to this beautiful location are encouraged to apply
