Interim Legal Counsel

Our client, a leading global financial services organisation, is seeking an Interim Counsel to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity to utilise your expertise and contribute to a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

As an Interim Counsel, you will play a crucial role in providing legal support and guidance on distribution-related matters. Your responsibilities will include maintaining agreement templates, sourcing and reviewing jurisdiction-specific advice, and providing regulatory guidance. You will be the go-to person for distribution matters and will work closely with the client services teams in the UK and EMEA.

To excel in this role, you should have a strong understanding of legal and regulatory matters related to the distribution of funds, investment management services, and inducement rules. Whether you are a commercially minded private practise lawyer or an in-house lawyer with a background in asset management, our client is looking for someone who is a team player and willing to adopt a flexible approach.

This is a temporary position, serving as maternity cover for a lawyer within the organisation's investment management legal team. The initial contract term is 6 months, with the potential for extension depending on the length of maternity leave. The role is expected to begin during the week of October 21st to accommodate a short handover period.
