Interim Technology Lawyer | 12 month FTC

Taylor Root is working with a leading multinational media company at the forefront of their field. They are looking to hire a 5+ PQE tech lawyer who can join them asap for a fixed term period of 12 months.

Sitting within a collaborative Tech, IP, and Privacy Legal team and reporting into the General Counsel, this is a role where you'll predominantly be handling technology transactional focused work including:

• Drafting and negotiating a range of complex and cross-jurisdictional technology contracts (e. cloud and SaaS agreements, MSAs, tech outsourcing agreements, and terms for AI tools).
• Advising on commercial agreements with partners.
• Providing advice and guidance on the introduction of new tech and data initiatives.
• Supporting and providing advice in relation to product development.
• Working with the DPO and Privacy teams. Reviewing DPAs and TIAs.

This is a role that would suit someone who's already in-house, or making a move straight from a tech/TMT team in private practice. You'll be joining a terrific team who are passionate and enthusiastic about what they do - they're practical, commercial, and creative in their approach.

Experience required:

• Ideally, 5+ years' post qualification legal experience.
• Commercial lawyer with in-depth understanding of technology matters as well as wider understanding of IP and data privacy.
