Award-winning US Law Firm client is looking for a Corporate Paralegal with solid experience and understanding of working in a corporate department. This will be a permanent role based in the firms stunning London office.
- Salary to £45,000.
- Hybrid Working 3 days in office 2 remote.
- Involved role with plenty of responsibility and autonomy.
The role will require the successful candidate to assist Partners and Associates of the Firm in a range of transactional and regulatory practice support, document preparation, coordination, production, distribution and legal research, with limited supervision. Will have direct client contact and ownership of specified companies, making this a varied and much valued role.
Duties of the Corporate Paralegal:
- Preparing and revising drats of legal documents to be reviewed by Lawyers, and ensuring all documents are filed correctly.
- Drafting ancilliary documents and short-form subscription documents.
- Collate information and KYC documentation for review and use.
- Document management pre and post completion.
- Coordinate transactional tasks with clients, advisors, and attorneys.
- Coordinate with government authorities and other free zones to gather information, all whilst developing and maintaining business relationships.
- Arrange files and documents to be signed and approved via DocuSign.
- Update and maintan trackers.
- Stay up to date on laws and regulations and communicate these to attorneys and wider teams.
- Work with Companies House to run searches and organise filings.
- Provide Company Secretarial support.
Requirements of the Corporate Paralegal:
- The client is looking for a candidate who has at least 1-3 years experience in a Corporate Legal Department.
- Have an understanding of online resources such as Westlaw, LexisNexis as well as other outlets to perform research and present findings.
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, organisation, and planning abilities.
- Excellent client service standards.
- Flexibility to travel and adjust hours around the needs of the firm.
- Legal Practice Course with Corporate electives and Law Degree or similar.
