Commercial Disputes Paralegal - City Law Firm - London.

Taylor Root have partnered with a leading city-based law firm in their search for an experienced Paralegal to join their Commercial Disputes practice. This role will be based in London and is being offered on a permanent basis.

The Firm

Our client is considered to be one of London's longest standing full-service firms, providing a full range of commercial legal services to a diverse UK and international client base. They are particularly well known for their expertise in private client, disputes & class actions, corporate and employment law.

The Team

This position will be uniquely placed to service both the Commercial Disputes and Class Actions practice. The firms Commercial Disputes and Class Actions practice forms part of the leading litigation practice and is recognised in the Legal 500 and Chambers for their excellence. The team regularly advise on complex disputes, in both claimant and defendant work.

The Role

You will assist both departments in all areas of litigation, with a particular focus on managing multiple clients. This will include:

• Perform office administrative tasks, including filing on the firm's DMS, billing, and drafting correspondence.
• Coordinate diaries, arrange meetings, and handle telephone inquiries.
• Manage group claim inboxes.
• Draft initial documents and proofread content.
• Analyze and input data, and write articles for internal or external distribution.
• Organize case files, attend court sessions, transcribe legal opinions, and compile litigation bundles.
• Prepare reports, conduct legal research, take witness statements, and participate in meetings with experts or relevant parties.
• Maintain records and utilize IT systems to conduct searches.
• Review disclosure documents using electronic platforms such as Relativity.

The Ideal Candidate

Our client is seeking someone who has prior experience working in a litigation team as a Paralegal (ideally 12 months).
