IP Solicitor

Our client, an international full-service law firm widely respected for its exceptional IP work, is seeking a seasoned Senior IP Lawyer to join the team. This highly regarded firm has built a stellar reputation for delivering top-tier legal services across various jurisdictions, making it a standout choice for both clients and legal professionals alike. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a prominent sports brand, beginning in December, for a 4.5-month contract.

The ideal candidate will have a robust background in intellectual property law, with specific expertise in handling IP matters, trademarks, and trademark infringement cases. The role requires managing a team, as this senior position will involve overseeing junior lawyers and providing strategic guidance. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle complex IP matters, including trademarks and trademark infringement
• Advise on both the client’s and third-party products concerning IP issues
• Work on cases across multiple regions, including the UK, Ireland, Middle East, and Latin America
• Provide international legal insight and navigate cross-border IP concerns

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a senior IP lawyer with a strong track record in trademarks and infringement
• Experience with international IP matters is highly desirable
• An interest in football is a plus, as the role involves working closely with a sports brand
• Willingness to travel abroad initially as part of the contract
