Regulatory Lawyer

Our client nationally recognised client is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Regulatory Lawyer with expertise in Shipping and Litigation to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive legal support and advice on regulatory compliance, shipping disputes, and litigation matters.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Advise clients on regulatory compliance.
  • Draft and review legal documents, contracts, and agreements.
  • Conduct legal research and stay updated on changes in regulatory laws.
  • Collaborate with other legal professionals and departments to provide holistic legal solutions.
  • Manage and oversee case files, ensuring timely and effective resolution of legal matters.
  • Provide training and guidance to junior lawyers and legal staff.

 

With training and support provided, specific regulatory experience is preferred, but candidates with affiliated expertise or a particular interest in growing a career in this area of the law will also be considered. Advocacy experience in the magistrates' court is essential and higher rights qualification, or a willingness to seek qualification is desirable.
