This is an exciting opportunity for a Procurement Solicitor to work as part of a national procurement practice from Newcastle upon Tyne.

Description
The Procurement Solicitor will pick up and deal with a range of responsibilities including;
- Advising public and private sector clients on non contentious procurement law matters particularly in areas such as central government and utilities.
- Advising on public procurement matters
- Advise private sector bidders on public procurement
- Getting involved in areas such as state aid
- Working closely with lawyers and Partners in other offices
- Supporting the team on business development activities
- Developing and maintaining strong client relationships.
- Stay updated on developments in procurement law and regulations.
Profile
The successful Procurement Solicitor should have:
- A background in procurement law gained from another law firm or public sector
- Comprehensive knowledge of procurement law.
- Likely to have around 4 -10 years PQE
- Ties to Newcastle
- A client-focused approach with a commitment to delivering high-quality legal services.
