We are pleased to be working with a highly regarded law firm that is looking to expand its Intellectual Property team by recruiting a talented Trade Mark Attorney with 3+ years post-qualification experience (PQE) to join its Liverpool office. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional to further develop their career in a supportive and prestigious environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing a broad range of trade mark-related matters, including clearance searches, filings, prosecution, oppositions and enforcement
• Advising clients on trade mark strategy and portfolio management, ensuring their intellectual property aligns with business goals
• Handling contentious trade mark matters such as oppositions, revocations and infringement proceedings
• Working closely with clients across various industries, from start-ups to global corporations, providing tailored and strategic advice
• Supporting the firm’s business development efforts by cultivating strong client relationships and identifying new opportunities

Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years PQE as a qualified UK or European Trade Mark Attorney
• Proven experience managing a full spectrum of trade mark matters, both contentious and non-contentious
• Strong communication and client management skills with a commercial focus
• A proactive and collaborative mindset, able to work effectively within a close-knit team
• A keen interest in business development and growing client relationships
