Funds Regulatory Paralegal - US Law Firm - London
Taylor Root have parented with a leading US law firm in their search for an experienced Paralegal to join the asset management group. This role is being offered as an initial 12 month FTC and will be based In the firms London office.
The Firm
Our client has been at the forefront of transactional law since their founding and is widely acknowledged as the industry leader in the US and London. The London office provides advice to the worlds leading corporations, investment funds and financial institutions.
The Team
The firm's asset management practice makes up a large percentage of their London offices revenue and works with FS institutions and investment funds to advise on hedge funds, private equity/buyout funds, credit funds and real estate funds. This role will sit within the regulatory function, where the lawyers specialise in advising on EU/UK regulation issues relating to the structuring and marketing of private funds within the UK and Europe.
The Role
You will assist two main Partners and support on advising on regulation such as Alternative Investment Fund Managers Directive (AIFMD) and Sustainable Finance Disclosure Regulation (SFDR) as well as the guidelines and recommendations of the European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA).
The Ideal Candidate
The successful candidate will have prior Paralegal experience working for a top city law firm. This experience will include financial services regulation or funds regulation. Those from a finance background that have covered FS/Funds Reg will also be considered.
