Local authority experience is highly desirable, but they are open to considering other sectors with transferrable skills. The successful candidate must have experience providing professional legal advice on all aspects of Housing Litigation work.
The successful Housing Litigation Lawyer will have significant experience in Housing Law and at least one of the following areas:

- Judicial Reveiw
- Homelessness
The housing and litigation team is very friendly and supportive, and can offer some training where appropriate. The team and council are highly regarded and have worked on some really interesting cases.
The post will suit an ambitious team player who will be able to adapt well within the local authority. Our client is happy to consider candidates from either a public sector or private practice background. The role will involve office presence once a week and there may be the requirement to attend Court hearings in person. The Council offices are easily accessible via public transport. The role is locum initially for 3 months and is highly likely to be extended long term.
