Interim Legal Counsel

Our client, a major player in the financial services industry, is seeking an experienced Interim Legal Counsel with Asset Servicing expertise. This is an immediate-start, full-time opportunity based in London, with flexibility for suitable candidates in Manchester or Edinburgh.

Role Highlights:

• Location: Hybrid, with a minimum of 3 days in-office (London, Manchester, or Edinburgh)
• PQE: 5+ years, suited for autonomous professionals with Asset Servicing experience, particularly in custody, depository services, or fund services (fund accounting, transfer agency, middle office).

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and advise on legal/regulatory developments
• Support the Asset Servicing business with legal guidance on services/products, with a focus on custody and outsourcing
• Draft, review, and negotiate client contracts
• Provide timely legal advice for strategic initiatives and draft necessary documentation
• Collaborate and share knowledge within the legal team
• Support senior members on regulatory and client-facing initiatives
• Act as a proactive self-starter, taking ownership of responsibilities
