Our client is looking to appoint a Construction Solicitor to join their growing team in the North of England. Based in Leeds this is an exciting opportunity for a senior non contentious construction Solicitor to help grow their Yorkshire presence.
Client Details
Our client is a large international law firm who recently opened an office in central Leeds. The firm is known as a successful commercial law firm offering the full range of legal services to their clients. The Construction team is split into contentious and non contentious teams and they are now keen to hire on the non contentious side due to increased work flow.
Description
The Construction Solicitor will get involved in a range of responsibilities including;
- Working closely with the Partners in the North of England and dealing with complex construction law
- Advising developers and contractors on non contentious work.
- Taking the lead on developing a Leeds practice with support from the other Partners in the team.
- Maintain a high standard of client care at all times
- Contribute to the firm's business development activities
- Stay abreast of developments in construction law
- Mentor junior members of the team
Profile
The successful Construction Solicitor should have:
- A track record in non contentious construction law
- Likely to have around 8 -12 years PQE
- Ties to Leeds
- The ability to work well as part of a team
