BD Manager (Industrials and Manufacturing)

BD and Marketing Manager role in a top international law firm. Aligned to their Industrials sector group, with Energy sector crossovers. London based with hybrid working.

This global law firm, with a great culture and progression opportunities, is looking for a Business Development Manager to join their growing sector group BD team for Industrial, Energy and Manufacturing. The BD Manager will take ownership of the Industrial sector group, working closely with the BD Manager for Energy, with support from two BD Advisers who manage the team’s bids and pitches.

The role will work with a range of practices and Partners across the business globally and have a real client strategy focus for these sectors. There will also be the opportunity to manage a couple of key accounts in the group.

Key elements of the role include:

• Budgeting and planning for the Industrials sector group Leading on the production of strategic client pitches Developing content and thought leadership for the sector group Working on client targeting and analysis projects Managing a few key accounts as part of the firm’s client programme Ensuring cross selling and knowledge sharing across practices

Role requirements:

• Strong BD and marketing experience, ideally in a global environment Experience of client strategy and key account management would be desirable Experience of working in a law firm or equivalent environment (such as accountancy, consultancy etc.) Excellent stakeholder management skills, both internally and externally Analytical mindset, with experience of market and data analysis projects Bid and pitch experience
