Our client is a global professional services firm with a growing legal team. They are keen to recruit an additional Corporate Solicitor to join their leading Corporate practice in Leeds. This role will suit a mid level lawyer.

Our client is known as a leading professional services organisation with offices around the world. They have an established legal team and a growing Corporate team across the UK. The Leeds Corporate team is looking to add additional lawyer at the mid to senior level.

Description

The Corporate Solicitor will get involved in a range of work and responsibilities including;

• Providing advice on a range of deals including corporate structuring and reorganisations, M&A, equity investments, joint ventures and equity incentive arrangements.
• Building and maintaining relationships with clients
• Working closely with the existing Partner in Leeds and taking the lead on transactions
• Project managing and driving projects to conclusion
• Training and mentoring more junior team members
  

Profile

The successful Corporate Solicitor should have:

• A strong track record in Corporate gained from working in a international, national or regional law firm
• An interest to work in professional services
• Likely to be around 5-10 years PQE
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• The ability to work effectively within a team
• A solution-oriented mindset and the ability to handle complex legal issues
• Ties to Leeds

Job Offer

• An attractive salary of approximately £73,000 - £85,000 per annum
