Criminal Defence Solicitor - FTC

CRIMINAL DEFENCE (FTC) 3 + PQE, GREATER MANCHESTER, £35,000 - £50,000, 12 MONTHS FIXED TERM CONTRACT. A reputable law firm is looking for a criminal defence solicitor to join their team on a temporary basis to cover maternity leave. JOB REF: 7825

•The Legal Professional will provide comprehensive legal advice to clients, conduct case analysis, and collaborate with external professionals such as Barristers, forensic experts, and investigators to build a robust defence.

•You will represent clients in court proceedings, including bail hearings, pre-trial conferences and plea negotiations.

•Applications are open to dedicated locums with 3 years’ PQE and experience in a client-facing role, with proven ability to manage own caseload for both guilty and not guilty pleas.

•The candidate will have experience in criminal defence, specifically within drink driving, drug driving, fatalities, dangerous driving and speeding, including others.

•This role is office based however, the firm will offer hybrid working arrangements after the initial settling in period.
