Locum Legal Counsel

We're recruiting for a Locum Legal Counsel based in outside of Leeds for an immediate start on a 3-month contract supporting international business operations.

Description

The Locum Legal Counsel will be:

• Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial contracts, NDAs, and master agreements.
• Advising on compliance matters, including privacy, ESG, and trade regulations.
• Supporting cross-border transactions and providing targeted legal advice.
• Assisting with property, HR, and company secretarial matters as needed.
• Collaborating with senior stakeholders to deliver practical, commercially driven strategies.

Profile

The Locum Legal Counsel should be:

• A solicitor or equivalent with 5+ years PQE.
• Experienced in commercial law; cross-border experience preferred.
• Confident in drafting and negotiating complex agreements.
• Solutions-focused with excellent interpersonal skills.
