An exceptional role has arisen for a senior lawyer to join as Head of Corporate Finance at a prestigious global financial institution. Reporting directly to the Group General Counsel, this high-profile position involves advising business teams and senior management on group financings, capital markets and investment activities. The role involves managing a small team responsible for the companies own capital markets, financing, guarantees, structured reinsurance, alternative investments, derivatives, financial communications, and regulatory advice. Additionally, you will assist the General Counsel on strategic issues and confidential projects. This role has the flexibility of being based in either Paris or London but either way, you should be prepared to travel.  

Our client seeks a highly experienced professional with significant in-house experience and a proven track record of advising at the group level within a large financial services company. Essential experience also includes:
- Expertise in corporate finance, capital markets and alternative investments
- Proven ability to advise at the board level
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing a team
- Proficiency in French
