Corporate Commercial Solicitor

Our client is a well-established, highly regarded firm with multiple offices in Hertfordshire, which is looking for a corporate solicitor with a strong focus on corporate and commercial work. The firm has around 45 staff and is known for its friendly, collaborative environment and commitment to work-life balance.

The Role:

Our client is seeking a Corporate Commercial Solicitor to handle a busy caseload of work, with deal values typically ranging from £500k to £1m. The work primarily includes mergers and acquisitions (M&A), shareholder agreements and other corporate legal matters.

Key Responsibilities:

• Managing a workload of corporate and commercial work, including M&A transactions and shareholder agreements
• Drafting and negotiating corporate contracts and agreements
• Advising clients on a range of corporate transactions and commercial matters
• Working closely with clients to understand and meet their business objectives

Requirements:

• Qualified Solicitor (England and Wales) with 3+ years PQE in corporate commercial law
• Proven experience in M&A, shareholder agreements and general corporate transactions
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• A commercial mindset with the ability to manage client relationships effectively
