The successful candidate will provide expert legal advice, manage risk, and ensure compliance within a large healthcare organisation in London.

Description

  • Provide expert legal advice on procurement-related activities
  • Develop, implement and review procurement strategies and policies
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations
  • Manage and mitigate legal risks
  • Lead the legal team in contract negotiations
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to enhance procurement processes
  • Offer training to staff on legal issues related to procurement
  • Represent the organisation in legal proceedings if necessary

Profile

A successful Head of Legal - Procurement Services should have:

  • A degree in Law or a related field
  • Professional legal qualifications
  • Extensive knowledge of procurement laws and regulations
  • Proven experience in a similar role within the public sector
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills
