Commercial/Corporate Legal Counsel, 1+

We are working with an innovative insurance company, looking for an entrepreneurial corporate/commercial lawyer to join its legal team in London.

If you have trained and qualified at a leading City law firm, have between 1-3 years' PQE advising as a TMT or general corporate lawyer and are looking for a "generalist In-House role" this is a great opportunity.

Work will include advising on a broad range of commercial contracts and general vendor agreements, corporate governance, US listing, regulatory, capital markets and (some) contentious work. Our client will also consider insurance contentious lawyers looking to move into a non-contentious role. Experience advising insurance clients would be ideal, but we will consider lawyers with experience advising regulated entities, ideally with a secondment to a bank or asset manager.

The expectation in this role is to appoint a smart, commercially minded lawyer with a genuine can-do attitude and good exposure to advising regulated Financial Services organisations.
