About the Role:
Join a Legal 500 award-winning regional firm as a Risk & Compliance Manager, becoming a vital part of their senior management team. Based across offices in North Dorset, Wiltshire, or Warminster, this role offers the chance to shape the firm’s compliance and risk frameworks while working closely with senior leadership.

You’ll oversee regulatory adherence, manage compliance best practices, and take ownership of day-to-day risk management. Your responsibilities will span onboarding, financial crime prevention, internal audits, policies, and procedures, ensuring the firm remains at the forefront of regulatory excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Compliance Oversight: Lead the firm’s compliance function, ensuring adherence to legal and regulatory frameworks.
• Risk Management: Manage risk across all departments, focusing on proactive measures.
• Onboarding & Financial Crime Prevention: Handle onboarding processes with a strong emphasis on AML and financial crime compliance.
• Internal Audits: Conduct regular audits to identify and mitigate compliance risks.
• Policies & Procedures: Draft, review, and maintain internal policies to meet current legal standards.
• Stay up to date with SARs, AML regulations, and data protection frameworks, ensuring firm-wide compliance.

About You:
You are a seasoned compliance professional with extensive knowledge of legal sector regulations, including SRA Standards and Regulations, AML, GDPR, and more. You’re ready to hit the ground running, bringing expertise in managing compliance and risk in a law firm.
