Description

The Legal Counsel - Property will be:

• Advising on housing management, anti-social behaviour cases, and tenancy disputes.
• Overseeing conveyancing sales and acquisitions.
• Preparing and reviewing contracts for development projects and other legal matters.
• Managing and liaising with external legal providers for more complex cases.
• Providing training and guidance to staff on legal and legislative updates.

Profile

The Legal Counsel - Property should be:

• A Solicitor or equivalent with 5+ PQE in housing law and property management.
• Skilled in tenancy matters, anti-social behaviour, and County Court advocacy.
• Proficient in contract vetting, conveyancing, and policy review.
• Adept at managing external legal providers and offering clear guidance to internal teams.
• A confident communicator with the ability to drive between sites when required.
