Regulatory Solicitor

Are you an experienced Regulatory Solicitor looking to secure a new role where you will enjoy industry-leading work?

Based in Leeds (offering a high degree of remote working) with a national L100 law firm, this market leading Regulatory Team is looking to develop its environment expertise due to client and case demands.

You must have experience of dealing with regulatory issues for clients. and ideally have experience in contentious and non-contentious environmental cases including:

• Advising organisations on prosecutions by the Environment Agency and National Resources Wales
• Environmental permitting
• Waste management
• Water pollution
• Providing support to companies on risk management and on corporate and real estate transactions

There would also be opportunities to advise organisations in relation to investigations and prosecutions by other regulators, including the Police, Health and Safety Executives and Local Authorities. The team deals with all aspects of advice and defence and has a busy practice instructed in a number of high-profile investigations and in cases involving a range of health and safety, environmental and other regulatory breaches.
