Serious Injury Solicitor/ CILEx
Location: Birmingham (City Centre)Hybrid Working
I am currently recruiting for a talented and experienced Personal Injury Fee Earner (Claimant) to join a highly regarded team of lawyers based in Birmingham.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Legal Executive or a Qualified Solicitor (up to 10 years PQE) who is passionate about making a real difference to clients impacted by catastrophic injuries, including serious orthopaedic, brain, spinal, and amputee injuries, as well as fatalities.
In this role, you will:
- Manage intermediate and multi-track cases autonomously.
- Work closely with senior team members on catastrophic cases.
- Be part of a friendly, sociable, and highly supportive team.
- Have the chance to develop your business development skills by working alongside charitable partners.
Flexible Working and Culture
The firm offers a hybrid working arrangement (2 days in the office, close to Victoria Square) and the flexibility to travel and meet clients face-to-face as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handling higher-value cases with a focus on early intervention and rehabilitation.
- Providing excellent client care, including regular personal contact.
- Progressing cases proactively and meeting litigation and court deadlines.
- Ensuring limitation dates are met, valuing quantum, and achieving effective settlement resolutions.
- Using the in-house case management system.
- Keeping up to date with legal and regulatory developments.
Required Skills:
- Strong communication and client care skills.
- A proactive approach to case progression.
- Experience managing high-value cases and litigation.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
