Private Client (Wills Tax Trusts) Lawyer 7+ years’ PQE GUERNSEY

Highly-regarded offshore law firm in Guernsey is seeking to recruit an experienced Private Client (Wills Tax Trusts) lawyer of 7 or more years’ PQE. Clients include high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth individuals and families; family businesses; family offices; private banks; trust companies; settlors, beneficiaries and their advisers. The team provides timely, customised advice across jurisdictions that address the particular sensitivities of private capital clients. Their work includes advising on private and commercial trusts, wealth and succession planning, wills and probate, charitable and philanthropic trusts and entities.
The successful candidate will work alongside other senior team members, supported by and supervising more junior fee-earners. You will proactively assist in developing and expanding client relationships whilst, at the same time, being a valued resource to existing clients. This will involve taking ownership of the development of relationships with core clients and participating in business development initiatives. Furthermore, you will participate in the development of the practice’s know-how, share knowledge and actively participate in conferences, seminars, client presentations and internal training. Ideally, you will have experience of working for an established private client practice or family office. Applications from England & Wales, Guernsey and Commonwealth-qualified lawyers are welcome.
