A well-established financial services organisation are looking for an Assistant Company Secretary to join the business on an 18 month fixed term contract with an excellent chance of a permanent role after the initial period. The secretariat is currently 3 strong with one team member going on Maternity in February, you would report directly to the Company Secretary who has been with the business for over 10 years.
The Role:
- Management and support of Board and board-level committee meetings.
- Agenda planning, arranging meetings and taking minutes and actions.
- Drafting board and shareholder resolutions.
- Review of governance arrangements.
- Draft amendments to the Articles of Association where required and file at Companies House
Requirements:
- CSQS qualified, with a minimum of 3 years experience.
- Technical knowledge of company law and governance.
- Previous experience in financial services is useful but not essential.
